Justin Olsen, born in 1987, is an American bobsledder who has competed since 2008. He is a member of the gold medal winning US Men's Bobsledding Team. He played football there as well as throughout high school, where he built the physical strength and reflexes needed for the challenges of bobsledding.

Olsen's meteoric rise in the sport culminated when he was selected for the US Olympic team in January 2010. He has two sisters and one brother. His favorite football team is the Green Bay Packers. He describes the days and weeks following his Olympic win as a positive experience. "It's been great," he told a television reporter. "Everybody is so enthusiastic." When asked about any perks that come with being a gold-winning Olympian. Olsen smiled and laughed, responding, "I haven't noticed any major perks, but some people have bought meals for me."

Olsen stated that he regularly wears his medal, since so many friends, family, and other contacts ask to see it. "But no one knows I'm wearing it," he said. "I keep it hidden." As to his friendships with his fellow bobsledders, Olsen stated, "We have a lot of confidence in each other."
