Victoria Gotti ( 1962 - )  Category ( Celebrities ) [suggest a correction]

Born 27 November 1962 in Brooklyn, New York, Victoria Gotti is the daughter of late Gambino crime family Mafia boss, John Gott and his wife Victoria DiGiorgio Gotti. Her siblings include Angela (Angel), Peter, John A. "Junior" Gotti and Frank Gotti, who was accidentally killed by John Favara in 1980.

Victoria was a columnist at the New York Post and at the U.S. tabloid Star and has written several books. From August 2004 until December 2005, she was the start of Growing Up Gotti, a reality television show produced by the A&E Network. The show also featured her three sons. A&E faced heavy criticism about the show, with complaints that the network was glamorizing organized crime. Film.com said about the show: "Victoria Gotti has the warmth of an ice pick and her sons the charm of, well, thugs."

Accordig to a Cityfile article, on an episode of Growing Up Gotti, Gotti got Botox injections and had her lips pumped full of collagen in preparation for an awkwardly staged blind date. "It's clearly the tip of the plastic surgery iceberg for the orange-hued, Barbie doll-maned, inch-long acrylic-nailed, color contact-wearing Gotti. She's reportedly also had cheek and breast implants and a nose job."

Victoria was married to Carmine Agnello, the father of her boys and of a stillborn daughter, Justine. In 2000, Agnello was arrested and charged with racketeering and arson. Victoria was granted a divorce from Agnello on grounds of constructive abandonment (no sexual relations for more than a year), as he was in jail after he was charged with nine years for racketeering.

In the divorce, Victoria got the family's Long Island manion and $25,000 per month. This information became available when the divorce decree was disclosed in a bid to stave off a fire sale of fourteen commercial properties Agnello owned in Jamaica, Queens, to recoup the $8.7 million he still owes the government under his plea deal.

Victoria suffers from mitral valve prolapse and has a pacemaker. In August 2005, she claimed she had breast cancer, but she admitted later that she had "precancerous cells" in her breast and was not a cancer 'survivor.'
